Eousso brothers in New Jersey do a lot of infrared work it has a special place in the industry, I believe it’s over used in a lot of situations.. it’s good for shining out settled patches in roads

I agree with the above post, I feel its often over used. I think its better used to touch up minor issues when paving, then trying to repair old asphalt. The other thing to consider, if you have crack seal in your area, forget about it, you can't heat that. We have also found that we can take hot mix and make a skin patch faster than a heat with the infrared. Not saying they are bad, just have their place. IMHO
